A bathroom is where a day begins and ends. It deserves the same quality of thought as any other space in the home, perhaps even more, given how private and personal it is.
In the Algarve context, that means working with a palette that feels native to the landscape. Travertine and limestone. Handmade Moroccan-influenced tile. Deep-set windows that admit light without sacrificing privacy. Freestanding baths positioned to catch a particular view. Rainfall showers open to a walled garden. Simple in concept, demanding in execution and deeply satisfying when it all comes together in exactly the right way.

We manage the entire bathroom design and installation process, from the first conversation about how the space will be used through to the final fixing of every fitting and tile.
That process begins with understanding. How many people will use this bathroom? Is it a private principal suite or a generous guest room? Should it feel dramatic or quietly serene? Are there existing architectural features worth preserving, or is this a complete reinvention of the space? The answers to those questions shape everything that follows.
From there we develop a full design proposal – layout, materials, lighting, fittings, and storage – drawn together into a coherent scheme before any work begins. We work with a curated selection of suppliers whose products we know well and trust completely, sourcing from both Portuguese and European makers depending on what the project requires.
Installation is carried out by our own skilled team, with Telmo’s oversight ensuring the standard of finish is exactly what the design demands. Tiling, plumbing, electrical, plastering, joinery all coordinated as a single, managed process rather than a succession of separate trades arriving independently.
